Locating Your Credit Card Security Code

The Credit Card Security Code is a unique three digit number printed on the back (Visa/MasterCard) of your card. Your order cannot be processed without this code.

Our contract with you

How we will accept your order. You agree that your order is an offer to buy, under these Terms, all products and services listed in your order. All orders must be accepted by us or we will not be obligated to sell the products or services to you. We may choose not to accept orders at our sole discretion.  Our acceptance of your order will take place when we email you to accept it, at which point a contract will come into existence between you and us. 

If we cannot accept your order. If we are unable to accept your order, we will inform you of this in writing and will not charge you for the product. Examples of reasons why we may be unable to accept your order are because: the product is out of stock; your billing information is not correct or verifiable; we have identified an error in the price or description of the product; or we are unable to meet a delivery deadline you have specified.

Your order number. We will assign an order number to your order and tell you what it is when we accept your order. It will help us if you can tell us the order number whenever you contact us about your order.

Goods Not for Resale or Export. You represent and warrant that you are buying products or services from the Site for your own personal or household use only, and not for resale or export. 

Price and payment

Where to find the price for the product. The price of the product (which includes applicable taxes such as VAT) will be the price indicated on the order pages when you placed your order. All prices, discounts, and promotions posted on this Site are subject to change without notice.  

What happens if we got the price wrong. We strive to display accurate price information.  However, it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the products we sell may be incorrectly priced. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time and to cancel any orders arising from such occurrences.  We will normally check prices before accepting your order so that, where the product's correct price at your order date is less than our stated price at your order date, we will charge the lower amount. You represent and warrant that (i) the credit card information you supply to us is true, correct and complete, (ii) you are duly authorized to use such credit card for the purchase, (iii) charges incurred by you will be honored by your credit card company, and (iv) you will pay charges incurred by you at the posted prices, including shipping and handling charges and all applicable taxes, if any, regardless of the amount quoted on the Site at the time of your order.

Providing the products

Delivery Exclusions.  Skechers is unable to deliver to addresses located in the Isle of Man, the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla.

Delivery costs. The costs of delivery will be as displayed to you on our website.  Posted prices do not include charges for shipping and handling. All such charges will be added to your merchandise total, and will be itemized in your shopping cart and in your order confirmation email. 

When we will provide the products. During the order process we will let you know when we will provide the products to you.

We are not responsible for delays outside our control. If our supply of the products is delayed by an event outside our control then we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect of the delay. Provided we do this we will not be liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to end the contract and receive a refund for any products you have paid for but not received. 

If you do not re-arrange delivery. If no one is available at your address to take delivery and the products cannot be posted through your letterbox, we will leave you a note informing you of how to rearrange delivery or collect the products from a local depot. If, after a failed delivery to you, you do not re-arrange delivery or collect them from a delivery depot, we may end the contract.

Your legal rights if we deliver products late. You have legal rights if we deliver any products late. If we miss the delivery deadline for any products then you may treat the contract as at an end straight away if any of the following apply:

1. we have refused to deliver the products;

2. delivery within the delivery deadline was essential (taking into account all the relevant circumstances); or

3. you told us before we accepted your order that delivery within the delivery deadline was essential.

Responsibility and ownership of the products

When you become responsible for the products. The products will be your responsibility from the time we deliver the products to the address you gave us.

When you own the products. You own the products once we have received payment in full.

Returns

Exercising your right to change your mind. You may return unworn goods within forty-five (45) days from the date of receipt of the products and get a refund in accordance with the instructions on obtaining a refund below. We will pay for the costs of returning the products in accordance with our returns policy [insert link].

Products not as described, fit for purpose or of satisfactory quality

The products must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If your goods are not as described, fit for purpose or of satisfactory quality:

1. You may return the goods within forty-five (45) days and get a refund in accordance with the instructions on obtaining a refund below;

2. You may return the goods within six (6) months and, if your goods cannot be repaired or replaced, get a refund in accordance with the instructions on obtaining a refund below; and

3. You may return the goods after six (6) months and, if you can show that the product was not as described, fit for purpose or of satisfactory quality at the time of delivery and your goods cannot be repaired or replaced, get a refund in accordance with the instructions on obtaining a refund below. 

In each instance, we will pay for the costs for returning the products in accordance with our returns policy [insert link].  On return of the products and payment of the refund, the contract will come to an end.

How to obtain a refund

Complete the form. To obtain a refund if your products are not as described, fit for purpose or of satisfactory quality, please complete the return form available when you login in to your skechers.it account or available (after shipping) via the order status link on the homepage of skechers.it and send it to the address on the form.

Return products. If you have taken delivery of the products in relation to which you are seeking a refund, download and print the return form and fill in your information.  Use the shipping label to return the item or items to us for refund.

When we will pay the costs of return. We will pay the costs of return of all products in accordance with our returns policy [insert link].  

How we will refund you. If you comply with the instructions above, we will refund you the price you paid for the products including the cost of delivery of the product to you, by the method you used for payment. However, we may make deductions from the price, as described below.

Deductions from refunds if you are exercising your right to change your mind. If you are exercising your right to change your mind we may reduce your refund of the price (excluding delivery costs) to reflect any reduction in the value of the products, if this has been caused by your handling them in a way which would not be permitted in a shop. If we refund you the price paid before we are able to inspect the products and later discover you have handled them in an unacceptable way, you must pay us an appropriate amount.

When your refund will be made. We will make any refunds due to you within fourteen (14) days from the day on which we receive the products back from you.

Our rights to end the contract

We may end the contract if you break it. We may end the contract for a product at any time by writing to you if:

1. you do not make any payment to us when it is due and you still do not make payment within fourteen (14) days of us reminding you that payment is due;

2. you do not, within a reasonable time, allow us to deliver the products to you.

Our responsibility for loss or damage suffered by you

IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE OR ENHANCED DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS OR REVENUES OR DIMINUTION IN VALUE, ARISING OUT OF, OR RELATING TO, AND/OR IN CONNECTION WITH ANY BREACH OF THESE TERMS, REGARDLESS OF (A) WHETHER SUCH DAMAGES WERE FORESEEABLE, (B) WHETHER OR NOT WE WERE ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES AND (C) THE LEGAL OR EQUITABLE THEORY (CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE) UPON WHICH THE CLAIM IS BASED.

OUR SOLE AND ENTIRE MAXIMUM LIABILITY, FOR ANY REASON, AND YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE ACTUAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE PRODUCTS AND SERVICES YOU HAVE ORDERED THROUGH OUR SITE.

The limitation of liability set forth above shall: (i) only apply to the extent permitted by law and (ii) not apply to (A) liability resulting from our gross negligence or willful misconduct and (B) death or bodily injury resulting from our acts or omissions.

Force Majeure.  We will not be liable or responsible to you, nor be deemed to have defaulted or breached these Terms, for any failure or delay in our performance under these Terms when and to the extent such failure or delay is caused by or results from acts or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including, without limitation, acts of God, flood, fire, earthquake, explosion, governmental actions, war, invasion or hostilities (whether war is declared or not), terrorist threats or acts, riot or other civil unrest, national emergency, revolution, insurrection, epidemic, pandemic, lockouts, strikes or other labor disputes (whether or not relating to our workforce), or restraints or delays affecting carriers or inability or delay in obtaining supplies of adequate or suitable materials, materials or telecommunication breakdown or power outage.

No Waivers

The failure by us to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of future enforcement of that right or provision. The waiver of any right or provision will be effective only if in writing and signed by a duly authorized representative of Skechers.

No Third-Party Beneficiaries

These Terms do not and are not intended to confer any rights or remedies upon any person other than you.

Assignment 

You will not assign any of your rights or delegate any of your obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. Any purported assignment or delegation in violation of this paragraph is null and void. No assignment or delegation relieves you of any of your obligations under these Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is invalid, illegal, void or unenforceable, then that provision will be deemed severed from these Terms and will not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions of these Terms.

Entire Agreement 

Our order confirmation, these Terms, our Site’s Terms of Use, and our Privacy Policy will be deemed the final and integrated agreement between you and us on the matters contained in these Terms.

Alternative dispute resolution 

Alternative dispute resolution is a process where an independent body considers the facts of a dispute and seeks to resolve it, without you having to go to court. The European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Platform is accessible here. We are not obliged to use alternative dispute resolution and do not currently submit to it.

Other important terms

Which laws apply to this contract and where you may bring legal proceedings. These terms are governed by English law and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in the English courts.

These Terms, their subject matter and formation, are governed by Italian law and you can bring legal proceedings in respect of them in the Italian courts.

We collect and publish reviews using an online review platform which is incorporated into the pages for each product on our website. Any person can leave comments and feedback and choose a rating of 0 to 5 stars. The displayed 5-star rating is an average of all ratings received.

We do not verify that reviews have been submitted by customers who have actually used or purchased the product. However, reviewers must confirm their agreement to our review platform’s terms and conditions, which include the requirement that reviewers are only allowed to submit a review if they have had a personal experience with our products or services. Those terms and conditions also state that reviewers should not submit a review if they are yet to make a purchase or have no experience with the specific product or service or with Skechers. 

We publish both positive and negative reviews on each product page. However, we have the ability to moderate and filter reviews before publication, including to remove reviews which breach our review platform’s terms and conditions or are not relevant or related to that particular product.

Anyone can flag a review on the following grounds: profanity, wrong product, spam, duplicate, copyright violation, not a product review, customer image, or on other grounds. Flagged reviews are considered for removal.   

We do not commission fake reviews, or manipulate or alter existing reviews, or incentivize reviewers to post positive reviews.

We do not publish reviews that have been sponsored or influenced by a contractual relationship with partners.

What happens if I'm unable to make payments to Klarna?

If you paid with the “Pay in 3 Instalments” plan, Klarna will automatically attempt to collect your second instalment from the debit or credit card that you entered at checkout. If the payment cannot be collected on the scheduled due date, Klarna will make a further attempt to automatically collect payment 7 days later and again in an additional 7 days. Should the last payment attempt fail, Klarna will add the failed amount to your final instalment.

Final Instalment: Klarna will automatically attempt to collect your final instalment from the debit or credit card that you entered at checkout. If the payment cannot be collected on the scheduled due date, Klarna will make a further attempt to automatically collect payment 7 days later and again in an additional 7 days. If the payment for the final instalment fails, Klarna will issue a statement for the full outstanding order amount which will become payable 15 days later. You may be charged fees or interest for late and/or missed repayment(s). Your credit score will not be impacted by using Klarna’s ‘Pay in 3 instalments’ product even if you have failed to pay on time. If you fail to make a payment you will be in default, and may be unable to use the service in the future. If you do not pay for your purchase, Klarna may engage with an external debt collection agency to collect any outstanding funds as a last resort.

How do I return or exchange an item purchased using instalments with Klarna?

If you have changed your mind, you can return your Klarna order with the same forwarder with which you received the goods (Please, follow the instructions regarding Returns on www.skechers.it).

Please note that we do not accept in-store returns for online orders.

Skechers.ie, orders paid with Klarna, must be returned by mail in order to receive a refund to the original form of payment. Please check that your return or exchange meets our Return policy here. Klarna will be notified of your return and will process the appropriate refunds. Log into your Klarna account and select “Report a return” to pause your statement. Klarna will adjust your invoice as soon as your return has been processed.

When will my items be delivered if I use instalments with Klarna?

Klarna orders are delivered per our standard shipping time frame after completing your order online.

What happens if I have a partial refund, and how does that affect my Klarna payments?

If the partial refund is greater than the remaining balance of your order, the refund amount will be credited to the original payment method.

If the partial refund is less than the remaining balance of your order, the amount will be deducted from the outstanding balance and spread evenly across the remaining payments.

You can view any updates to your payment plan in the Klarna app.

I have not received my order. What happens to my statement?

You do not need to pay the statement until you have received your order. Email Customer Service

My Klarna statement is incorrect. What should I do?

Skechers Italy Returns

Please note that purchases on Skechers websites cannot be returned to Skechers Retail Stores

To initiate a return, here's what you need to do:

Step One

• A printer is needed to print your return label
• Click ORDERS AND RETURNS
• Enter Order Number and email address you used to place the order
• Order No. can be found on your email confirmation
• Select the product(s) you wish to return
• Click on the Return Label link
• Print out the return document

Returning more than one product from an order, please note:

If you’re returning more than 1 item then you will need to print a return label for each item, however, only 1 shipping label needs to be attached to the outside of the shipping box. 

A return form should be included for each item inside of the box.

Step Two

• You can use the original shipping box you received from the Skechers website, or any plain, unmarked cardboard box to ship your return.
• If there are any existing shipping labels, stickers, or other materials on the shipping box, please remove them.
• Separate the pre-paid return label from your completed return form at the perforation. Include your return form(s) with your item(s) in their original packaging and attach the return label to the outside of the shipping box.

Step Three

Drop off your RETURN package via a UPS access point, Find your convenient UPS drop off point location by visiting www.ups.com or Call UPS at 800877877 to arrange for them to pick up your package from home. 

You will receive an email confirmation once your return has been processed.

We'll send you a confirmation as soon as your return has been processed (1-3 weeks after the return is shipped).

At this time, we only accept returns for purchases on the SKECHERS website. Free return postage applies only to orders within the 45 days of shipment. If the product is returned outside of the 45-day return period or the item is worn, damaged, or not in its original packaging, or if the above return procedures are not followed SKECHERS will be unable to honor a refund for the merchandise.

If you placed your order as a guest to initiate the return, click on "Orders and Returns" at the top right hand corner of the Skechers website.

Enter your order number and the email address used to place the order.

• Select the "Return Label" button next to the Item(s) you would like to return
• Download and print your free UPS returns label
• If there are any existing labels, stickers, or other materials on the shipping box please remove them.
• Drop off your return at any UPS-authorized shipping center. Find the UPS service center nearest you.
• We'll send you a confirmation as soon as your return has been processed (1-3 weeks after the return is shipped).

At this time we only accept returns for purchases on Skechers.it. Free return postage applies only to orders within the 45 days of purchase. If the product is returned outside of the 45-day return period or the item is worn, damaged, or not in its original packaging, Skechers will be unable to honor a refund for the merchandise.

We do not currently offer exchanges for Skechers website purchases. If you would like the same shoe in another size or style, simply place a new order and return the first pair.

We cannot guarantee that inventory will be available when placing a new order.

If you purchased your shoes from our website and you believe they are faulty please use the “contact us” button on the website. Please provide your order number, style code, colour and size of the shoes along with a description of the issue. Please also include images, showing the problem you have with the shoe and if possible an image of the shoe tag for our reference. 

A member of our Customer Care team will then respond and advise you on how to proceed. Please do NOT send faulty shoes back to the warehouse.

If you purchased your shoes from a retail store or another retailer, please contact them directly.

The maximum timeframe for a refund should be within 2 weeks of receiving the returned merchandise to our warehouse. You will receive an email confirmation once your return is processed.

Important: Once we initiate the credit for your return, the credit/debit card company that issued the credit determines the date the refund will post to your account. It may take up to two billing cycles for the credit transaction to appear on your statement. For exact posting dates, please contact your credit/debit company directly.
